Jelly Stomp

Jelly stomp is a game played by two people or four people (in teams of two). Players fight to stomp each others jelly fish and protect their own. When the controllers are plopped under water the bluetooth connection breaks. Three times under water kills a jelly fish. The game is part of a series of games and playful activities designed for public spaces in Malé, the city capital of Maldives. In the wake of the military coup in 2012 in Dhivehi Raajje (often referred to as The Maldives), we were 12 game designers who went to Malé, the capital of Dhivehi Raajje to create games and playful experiences together with the with local activists and creative communities.
